This online calculator will calculate how much you may need to contribute towards any care you receive which has been arranged by the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham.
If you receive care funded by the Council, at home, in the community, or in a residential/nursing home, you will be asked about your individual circumstances to work out if, and how much, you can contribute to the cost of your care.
It is important that you complete this calculator by entering details about your benefits, pensions, earnings, savings, assets, and essential costs, as accurately as possible, to ensure the calculator can estimate the correct amount you may need to contribute towards your care.
Please note that this calculator will provide an estimate only and that the amount you may need to contribute will be subject to a financial assessment, which can only be done once you have completed and returned a financial assessment form.
